A voter who cannot be at his or her place of residence on Election Day is entitled to vote early.
Time for early voting at the polling station:
Weekdays - from 9:00 to 18:00
Weekends - from 11:00 to 17:00.
To be able to vote early, a voter must:
1. Present his/her ID to the respective Precinct Election Commission;
2. Obtain an early voting ballot from the respective Precinct Election Commission based on an application stating the reason for the absence on Election Day;
3. Sign in the list of voters upon receipt of the ballot paper in the presence of at least two members of the respective Precinct Election Commission;
4. Fill in the ballot paper in a specially equipped booth or room for the secret ballot;
5. Place the completed ballot paper in an envelope, seal it and hand the sealed envelope to a member of the Precinct Election Commission;
6. Two members of the Precinct Election Commission check the seal of the envelope in the presence of the voter and sign the envelope at the sticking point, which is confirmed by the seal of the Commission;
7. The envelope is kept in the safe of the Precinct Election Commission until voting is completed on Election Day.
Early voting for the election of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and local Councils (Kengashes) will be held from October 16 to 23.
