The SDP of Uzbekistan "Adolat" was established on February 18, 1995 at the First Constituent Congress.

Registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on February 18, 1995 for No. 184. On February 18, 1995, the First Constituent Congress of the Social Democratic Party "Adolat" of Uzbekistan was held. The party's Program and Charter were adopted there, and the main slogan was "Strength in justice!" was marked as

By the decision of the Congress, the socio-political newspaper "Adolat" was established, the first issue of the newspaper was published on February 22, 1995.

February 18, 1995 - at the first Plenum of the party, Anvar Zhoraboyev was elected First Secretary of the Political Council.

November 8, 1996 - Turgunpolat Daminov was elected first secretary of the Political Council of the party at an extraordinary Plenum.

January 24, 2005 - Dilor Toshmukhamedova was elected First Secretary of the Political Council of the party at the extraordinary II plenum.

September 27, 2008 - Political Council of the party.

The X Plenum was held. Ismail Saifnazarov was elected chairman of the Political Council of the party in connection with the election of the First Secretary of the Political Council of the party D.Toshmukhamedova as Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

December 22, 2012 - the VII Plenum of the Political Council of the party was held. The party symbol has been changed.

June 7, 2013 - the 9th Plenum of the Political Council of the party was held. Narimon Umarov was elected chairman of the Political Council of the party.

The SDP of Uzbekistan "Adolat" took an active part in the elections held in 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2014 to the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Dzhokorgsky Council of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, local Councils of People's Deputies.

December 21, 2014 - January 4, 2015 - the SDP of Uzbekistan "Adolat" took part in the elections of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, regional, district and city Councils of People's Deputies and won 20 seats in the Legislative Chamber. Oliy Majlis and 834 seats in local councils.

The party actively participated in the presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2007, 2015, 2016 and nominated its candidate.

December 22, 2019 - January 5, 2020 - the SDP of Uzbekistan "Adolat" took part in the elections to the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, regional, district and city Kengashes of People's deputies and won 24 seats in the Legislative Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Oliy Majlis and 870 seats in local councils. Also, 7 senators from an active party were elected to the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

13 deputies (54%) and 2 senators (28%) elected to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis are women. 460 (55%) deputies elected to local Councils of People's Deputies are women, 51 (6%) are young people.

As of July 1, 2020, 430,496 members joined the ranks of the party, 46% of them women, 39% young people. To date, there are 6,250 primary party organizations, 204 district (city) councils and 14 regional party councils.
