Election-2021

That is why every citizen is required to have a high level of judgment in the election process and a sense of commitment to the changes being implemented in the country. After all, whoever the people trust, tomorrow he will lead the processes that determine the fate of the whole country. Therefore, it is natural that the people of our country are more interested than ever in the processes of the presidential election, which is expected in the fall of this year.

It is no secret that the future of every nation and country is in the hands of the young generation. Therefore, the political and social activity of young people is one of the issues of national importance. Thankfully, attention to youth policy has significantly increased in our country in recent years. On September 14, 2016, the Law "On State Policy Regarding Youth" was adopted in a new version. This law, along with clarifying the legal concepts that have been abstract for years, is an important factor in raising the state policy regarding youth to a new level. On April 20 of this year, the President "On additional measures to support the entrepreneurial activity and employment of young people, their social protection and meaningful organization of free time" decree is a continuation of the works in this regard.

Further improvement of the youth support system, support for their employment, encouragement of entrepreneurial ideas and initiatives, creation of additional conditions for them to earn a decent income, bringing the work in this regard to a new level, as well as 2017 - In order to ensure the implementation of the state program on the implementation of the five priority directions of the development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2021 in the "Year of supporting youth and strengthening the health of the population", this authoritative document is presented to the young generation in our country. is another vivid expression of care in action.

In 2019, youth participation in the elections held in our country in line with the idea of "New Uzbekistan - new elections" was higher than ever. 7 million 162 thousand 316 or 34.7% of the voters included in the single electronic voter list were young people under 30 years of age. About 2 million citizens who turned 18 took part in the elections for the first time. Currently, 14 young men and women under the age of 30 have been nominated by political parties as candidates for the Legislative Chamber. 9 of them were elected deputies. Also, 26 men and women were elected to the Dzhokorgi Council of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, people's deputies to the regional and Tashkent city councils, and 291 men and women to the district and city councils of people's deputies.

Young people are always active in the organization of election processes. During the 2019 elections, 144 members of district election commissions and 20,394 members of precinct election commissions were young men and women under the age of 30. It is expected that the participation of youth in the Presidential elections held in our country this year will be even higher than in the previous elections.

It is important to introduce modern methods of approach to young people in the conditions where almost one third of voters are young people. It is necessary to inform not only boys and girls of voting age, but also those who have not yet reached voting age, about the high results of bold reforms implemented in all areas of our country, including the national election system, and introduce them to election processes.

After all, today's school student is tomorrow's active voter. We hope that sorting young people by age categories and working in segment-groups will give good results. Increasing the knowledge of young people about election legislation through social networks and mass media is always an urgent issue. Also, it is very important to explain to them the specific features and content of the election law through the events held on the ground, to educate young men and women in an active civic position. Such events help to further increase the political consciousness and knowledge of our youth

A generation that has a deep understanding of its rights and duties will become an active layer that can make a worthy contribution to the development of our country - New Uzbekistan.
