  • Can media representatives participate in the vote counting process?

    According to Article 5 of the Election Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, media representatives accredited by the Central Election Commission may participate in all activities related to the preparation and conduct of elections, as well as in polling stations and the vote counting process on election day.

  • How long is the mandate of international observers?

    Observers from other states and international organizations are accredited by the Central Election Commission during the election campaign period. The validity of the accreditation certificate for international observers is from the date the Central Election Commission's decision on their accreditation is made until the announcement of the final results of the election.

  • In which languages are the ballots published?

    Election ballots are published in the state language and, in accordance with the decision of the relevant regional, district, and city election commissions, also in the languages spoken by the majority of the population in the respective area.
