It is known that political parties wishing to participate in the elections and nominate a candidate for deputy must be registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan no later than four months before the date of announcement of the start of the election campaign and collect at least forty thousand signatures of voters supporting their participation in the elections. According to the law, the signatures of voters from each administrative-territorial unit, i.e. from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the regions and the city of Tashkent, must not exceed eight percent of the signatures to be collected republic-wide.

On July 31 this year, the Central Election Commission issued the forms for the candidacy lists to collect supporting signatures for a political party to participate in the elections to the Legislative Chamber and gave each political party the opportunity to collect forty thousand signatures from voters. Since that day, political parties have started collecting voters' signatures in support of their party's participation in the elections.

Based on the above, the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen - the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Milliy Tiklanish Democratic Party, the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan and the Adolat Social Democratic Party submitted to the Central Election Commission an application for admission to participate in the elections  through the E-saylov information system on August 16-17 this year and submitted the collected candidacy lists to the Central Election Commission for consideration.
